Dehumidification Systems
When biogas is used for the energy recovery, it is necessary to provide for its dehumidification before putting it into the power generators in order to avoid damages of the same ones.
These systems, realized by Ecogas S.r.l., require the use of an heat exchanger , where biogas is brought to temperatures near zero, allowing the damp present in biogas to condense and later to be unloaded in automatic by condensate separators and their automatic unloaders.
For the cooling of biogas into the exchanger, it is generally utilized glycol water, which is made circulated in a closed circuit and cooled at temperatures near zero, by using suitable water refrigerators.
