The constant control of percentages of oxygen, methane and CO2 present in the gas, is very important in the biogas systems, in order to avoid that mixtures potentially explosive could be present in the various system sections of the plant.

For this purpose Ecogas S.r.l. implements systems of analyses which expect the scanning or continuous sampling of biogas in all those system zones where the control is required.

Analysers are protected by possible damp entries in the measurement cells by suitable “cooler gases” which dehumidify biogas to be analysed. The entry of damp inside the analysis cells would damage the same ones with heavy economic consequences.

Biogas is sucked up from the withdrawal points, using sampling lines, by pumps which send it to the analysers. Analysers are electrochemical, paramagnetic or infrared type according to the kind of analysis which is required.

For the control of emissions from flares, there are analyzers that allow you to monitor and record continuously the content in the flue gas of pollutants such as NOx, CO, SO2 or other products of combustion, where prescribed by the regulations..
